Cooluli Mini Fridge Recall: Check Your Model and Official Remedy

This is a U.S. recall, not a warning about every Cooluli unit

On August 13, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of about 250,000 Cooluli 10-liter and 15-liter minifridges. The agency says an electrical switch in the recalled units can short circuit, creating fire and burn hazards. The recall number is 26-685.

Capacity alone does not establish that a refrigerator is covered. The notices describe specific older production batches with an internal power supply. Cooluli says its current refrigerators that use an external power supply are not part of this recall.

Use four identifiers: capacity, power supply, ports, and batch

Start with the 10L or 15L capacity, then determine whether the unit has an internal power supply. On the rear, an affected design has two separate power inputs—one AC and one DC—instead of a single DC input. Its removable wall cord does not have the bulky inline brick commonly found on laptop chargers.

Those visual clues narrow the search; they do not replace the batch check. The unbranded illustration below shows where two different power inputs may appear, but it is not an official recall photo or a substitute for the CPSC gallery. The actual connector shapes and layout may differ.

The ITEM and batch numbers are on a label inside the door

CPSC says the model, marked as ITEM #, and the batch number are printed on a label inside the minifridge door. The covered batch ranges are 1535 through 1545 and 1200000 through 1202080, including both endpoints. Do not expand those ranges because another number looks similar.

The notice names the Infinity, Classic, Glow Beauty, and Vibe series. A matching series name is still not enough: compare the capacity, power design, batch number, and official photos together. Save clear photos of the inner-door label and the entire rear panel before opening the eligibility form.

At least 19 reports included smoke, sparks, melting, and fires

According to CPSC, Cooluli received at least 19 reports involving smoking, sparking, burning, melting, overheating, or fire. Reported property damage totaled more than $80,000, and one consumer reported a smoke-inhalation injury. The count combines reports across those different types of incidents.

Cooluli says a cooling-and-warming selector switch in some older units can overheat. CPSC's official notice identifies an electrical switch that can short circuit and pose fire and burn hazards.

Stop using a potentially affected unit, then get an official result

If the unit appears to match, stop using it and enter the ITEM and batch numbers on Cooluli's recall page to learn whether it is included. Do not cut the cord or discard the refrigerator before receiving the company's recall instructions. If the unit produces smoke or a burning smell, disconnect it from power safely.

For a confirmed unit, Cooluli will instruct the owner to unplug it, cut the old power cord, and submit photos showing the refrigerator's model and batch numbers. The free repair kit contains a replacement DC power cord and a permanent sticker that covers the AC port. The announced remedy is not a replacement refrigerator or cash refund.

1. Stop using a unit that appears to match and check its ITEM and batch numbers.
2. Photograph the inner-door label, rear inputs, and existing power cord.
3. Submit the ITEM and batch numbers through Cooluli's official recall page.
4. Unplug the unit, cut the old cord, and submit the requested photos only after Cooluli confirms coverage.
5. Do not use the refrigerator again until the repair kit is installed as directed.

If you bought outside the U.S., bring the sales channel into the check

The CPSC notice says the recalled units were sold online at Amazon.com and Cooluli.com from January 2019 through October 2024 for $80 to $120. That sales scope does not establish a national recall or repair-kit entitlement in every other country. Keep the retailer, purchase country, order record, ITEM, and batch number together when contacting Cooluli.
