PlayStation Plus August 2026 Games: Claim Them Before August 31

The three games do not support the same consoles

PlayStation announced Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk, and Signalis as the August 2026 Monthly Games. The stated availability window runs from August 4 through August 31.

Platform support needs a second look. Dying Light 2 is listed for PS5 and PS4, Big Walk for PS5, and Signalis for PS4. A PS5 owner should still confirm what appears on the actual Store page for the relevant account region before claiming or downloading anything.

Treat Monthly Games as a subscription benefit, not an unrestricted giveaway

Monthly Games are not the same as a permanent no-strings-attached giveaway. You can add an eligible title during its offer window without installing it immediately, but PlayStation says an active PlayStation Plus membership is required to keep playing it later.

If you cancel and later resubscribe, or if your account has unusual restrictions, check the current PlayStation terms rather than assuming another account or region works the same way.

PS5 and PS4 use different paths to the Monthly Games section

PlayStation’s support page directs PS5 users from Games home to PlayStation Plus, Benefits, and Monthly Games. On PS4, open PlayStation Plus, choose Monthly Games, then Add to Library and Download.

Labels can vary with system language and software updates. If search sends you to a standard product page, do not rush into a purchase. First confirm that the Monthly Games benefit is shown for your signed-in account.

1. Sign in and open the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games section.
2. Match the title, platform, and benefit label to the official announcement.
3. Confirm that the action adds the title to your library rather than charging the normal price.
4. Open your library afterward and verify that the title is present.

Choose what to install by platform and play style, not by the order shown

There is no need to install all three immediately. PlayStation describes Dying Light 2 as supporting cooperative play for up to four players, while Big Walk is also built around cooperation and communication. For solo play, review Signalis on your local Store for its description, age rating, and supported languages.

If storage is tight, add eligible titles during the offer window and decide about downloads later. Just verify the library entry before the deadline instead of assuming a button press succeeded.

Use the regional Store listing as the final check on August 4

PlayStation notes that the lineup may differ by region. A title in the announcement therefore does not guarantee that every account will display the same item at the same moment.

After the offer opens, check the Monthly Games screen tied to your account and review platform, language, age rating, and end date. Claiming early in the window gives you time to resolve a region or Store-label mismatch before August 31.
